Our Connectable Pad Systems offer the convenience of our original PoochPad® with an added aesthetic of our popular PoochTurf™. These connectable pads are an alternative to our connectable trays, while still providing a no-mess, leakproof solution for all your potty needs. Hike Shield and pads provide boundaries for all dogs and extra protection for males who lift their leg. Connect them together to create any size and shape that you desire, and fit the system perfectly to the needs of your home and pooch!

How To Use

Choose how many 16” x 24” potties you will need for your dog’s potty area.
- Multiple potties can be connected together by using the convenient built-in interlocking snaps and straps located on the PoochPad®
Wash and dry reusable PoochPad® before first use for best fit and absorbency. Pad will initially be larger than tray. After first washing, pad will shrink to fit turf properly.
Place the pad on the ground logo side up.
Line up the Hike Shield (notch side down) on the back and short side of the pad.
Pull the elastic from the pad corners and loop around notches on the Hike Shield.
Attach a second washable pad horizontally to the long side of the Hike Shield by looping the elastic straps of the pad over the top corners of the Hike Shield.
Position the third washable pad vertically to cover the short side of the Hike Shield.
Place PoochTurf™ on top of the pad and elastic.
Attach the outer corner of the PoochTurf™ to the pad with the elastic strap.
To help train your dog, use a small amount of PoochPad® Potty Training Attractant Spray (sold separately) or dab a small amount of your dog’s pee in the center of the PoochTurf™.
Lead your dog to the spot and allow them to sniff the area, so they can learn that this is the approved place to “go.” (See FAQ’s for training tips)
Be sure to praise/reward your dog when they use the dog potty.

Care Instructions

Wash your PoochPad® on a regular cycle with detergent in warm to hot water. Pads can be peed on multiple times before washing, depending on personal preference- for more information, see FAQs
Dispose of solid waste before washing.
Minor shrinkage of the pad will occur after washing and drying.
Excessive use of chlorine bleach or fabric softeners is not recommended as it can cause damage to the fibers and reduce the absorbency of the pad.
To dry the pad, use permanent press or medium heat dryer setting. Pads may also be hung to dry.
Clean your PoochTurf™ and Hike Shield by rinsing with warm soapy water & hang to dry.
- Do NOT machine wash or dry- Rinse with warm water by hand ONLY
For a thorough cleaning, we recommend PoochPad® Stain & Odor Eliminator (sold separately).
